Update 0.9.2


I had to release another hotfix to fix some game breaking bugs:

  • Saving and Loading did not work, it does now (I hope)
  • Game Over screen did not work, it should now.

I have tested both issues in the editor, but I did not get a chance to test them on the build, and sometimes there might be differences between the two, but hopefully there's nothing wrong, please let me know if it is fixed :)

And then, the changelog for 0.9:

  • In this update, I’ve packed in several major improvements drawn from the latest rounds of development. The main story continues to expand, with Chapter 2 complete. In this phase, the characters have started to craft an escape plan, though setbacks keep threatening to derail their hopes, intensifying the tension and deepening the narrative.
  • Alongside the story expansion, I’ve introduced a new leveling system and refreshed the UI with improved fonts for better readability. You can now access the skills menu directly from the pause screen, where three initial skills are available to enhance your gameplay—an exciting new layer that might evolve as the game progresses.
  • In addition, I’ve reworked various in-game materials and updated the character models. Several new NPCs have been added, including extra crew members and more slaves, enriching the world with fresh interactions and backstories. Lighting has been adjusted to provide a more realistic and immersive atmosphere, and numerous performance optimizations and bug fixes have been implemented to ensure a smoother experience throughout the facility.
  • And finally, as most of you know, this release had to be delayed a full day, so I ask your help in testing, please report anything that might seem like a bug to you, as I was not able to fully test everything, but most major bugs were fixed :)

for me, the captain was invisible.....once in the engine room. possible bug^^

Thanks for the feedback, it has been fixed, a new update will be released on Monday with this fixed :)

Turns out the parent object of the Captain was deactivated, so the Captain as a result was deactivated too
